The Birth of Centre Stage Experience

 

The idea for Centre Stage Experience was born during a year we spent living in London. To meet people and have some fun, we joined a local community choir. Once the director, Lizzy, found out that we're jazz musicians, she had a brilliant idea: an opportunity for her choir members to step out of their comfort zones and work with us one-on-one. Sparked by that conversation- we created a special "jazz night" where people could sign up to perform a song, but only after coming to us for a personalized coaching and rehearsal session.​

 

The event was a phenomenal success. We were blown away by how seriously everyone took it. They worked hard on their songs, dressed up for the big night, and invited their friends and family to watch. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. People told us we had helped them find their voice and boost their confidence, and they spoke about the immense joy of singing with a live band. Many said it was something they'd always wanted to do and would do again in a heartbeat.
