In Person Workshops
Discover what it takes to truly bring a song to life.
Our workshops give you the rare opportunity to work directly with an expert coach and a live pianist. No matter your level, we’ll guide you through the nuances of delivery, technique, and presentation in a fun, supportive environment that unlocks your best performance.
How It Works
*While our primary focus is jazz, we love working across other genres and welcome any style that blends well with our live instrumentation.
Workshops are held in Toronto's vibrant Junction area (exact address confirmed upon booking).​
The Schedule:
Choose the single session that works best for you. Workshops generally run 3 times a month. On select Tuesdays at 7:00 PM and Saturdays at 11:00 AM. There's also the option to book a private session on an alternative day/time (as an add on)

The Grand Finale (optional):
​
With your workshop registration you have the option to purchase a singer spot in one of our upcoming Jazz Nights, where you get to put what you've learned onto a real stage with a full band.
The Prep:
​
​You'll bring the song you've chosen to work on, and we will break down the mechanics of a great performance. We'll guide you through the process from whatever level you're at. After the workshop we'll send you a custom made track to practice with.
What's Included
Plans start at $65 (+HST)
Workshop:
​
Masterclass style vocal coaching. Individualized, within a small, supportive group setting. Guided by an experienced coach and with live piano accompaniment.
Appropriate for all levels.

Custom Practice Track:
​
After the workshop we'll make you a practice track in your key, at the right tempo and with the solos as planned- everything just as it will be at the performance!
Jazz Night Singer Spot*:
​
A guaranteed performance slot at one of our live events. You'll be fronting a killer line-up of pro musicians (sax, keys, bass, and drums). A dedicated sound tech and top-tier A1 equipment to ensure you sound amazing and feel comfortable on stage.

Private Workshop with Rob and Joanna ($75):​
Having trouble finding a time that works for you, or feel more comfortable with a private session? Just book a private workshop.​
Private Coaching with Joanna ($40):

Book a focused, 30-minute one-on-one session with Joanna to fine-tune your technique and build your confidence before the group meets.
Add a Second Song ($40):
​
Double your stage time and your workshop time! For just $40, you get a second song at Jazz Night plus entry into a second workshop session to prepare it.
Payment and Refund policy for Jazz Nights
​​Singer spots are considered confirmed once full payment has been received.
​
A full refund will be granted if requested at least 2 weeks prior to the event, and on the condition that the coaching session has not taken place.
​
There are no refunds once the coaching has taken place, however we may grant you a spot in a future Jazz Night.
​
Coaching sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the session for no extra charge, however, missed sessions by singers are non-refundable.
​
Audience tickets for the event are non-refundable.

​Venue & Accessibility Note:
Jazz Nights take place at the Junction Underground (2907 Dundas St W). Please note that the venue is located down a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
