Before the workshop, we’ll meet individually to find your perfect musical key and decide on your custom style and arrangement.
Performance-Quality Backing Track (Premium Plan):

You’ll receive a custom track tailored to your arrangement to use for home practice, the workshop and performance.
Masterclass Coaching:
Live, individual coaching during the workshop focusing on style, phrasing, rhythm, and melodic embellishments.
Your Choice of Finale:
Perform in one of our virtual concerts, or, if you're in the Toronto area, join us to perform live with the full band at one of our Live Jazz Nights (Premium Plan extra)
Tech Recommendations for the Best Experience
You don't need a professional studio to participate, but a few simple tech adjustments will help you hear the music perfectly and ensure we hear your voice at its best:
High-Speed Internet:
A reliable internet connection (ideally plugged into Ethernet, or close to your Wi-Fi router) keeps the video and audio perfectly synced.
Headphones are Key:
Wearing a pair of headphones or earbuds during the workshop prevents audio echo and allows you to hear the backing track clearly.
A External Microphone (Optional but Recommended):
While a built-in laptop mic works, an inexpensive USB microphone or a headset mic will vastly elevate your vocal clarity.
Zoom Audio Settings:
For the absolute best sound, we recommend enabling "Original Sound for Musicians" in your Zoom audio settings before we start. (Don't worry—we can help you set this up!)
