Overcoming Stage Fright: Transform Your Performance Anxiety!

I used to visualize myself calm and relaxed during performances. I'd tell myself, "This time will be different!" I was ready to step on stage. But the moment I walked out under in front of the audience, my pulse raced, my mouth went dry, and finding my breath support felt impossible.
Stage fright was stealing the joy from my gigs. It was frustrating not to reach the same level of performance I had during practice. For years, I believed the only solution was to "fight through it" or hope that one day the nerves would magically disappear. Spoiler alert: they didn’t! But what did change was how I managed them.
Through trial and error, I developed a practical 3-Bucket System that completely transformed my relationship with stage fright. Instead of viewing performance anxiety as a giant, overwhelming wall, this system breaks it down into three manageable parts:
1. Physical Fears
These are the mechanical worries. What if I trip while getting on stage? What if I forget the words? What if I miss my entry? These fears are rooted in logistics and preparation. When you learn to identify and organize these fears, you can build safety nets that keep you grounded.
2. Psychological Fears
This is the internal dialogue. It’s that nagging voice telling you that you aren’t good enough or the fear of being judged by peers, judges, or the audience. Psychological fears thrive on isolation, making you feel like everyone else has it together while you're secretly failing.
3. Physical Symptoms
This refers to how your nervous system reacts to stress: dry mouth, shaking hands, shallow breathing, and a locked jaw. You can't just tell a racing pulse to "calm down," but you can use targeted physical and somatic techniques to signal to your body that you are safe.
You Don't Have to Work Through This Alone!
Understanding these three buckets is a massive first step, but real breakthroughs happen when you stop dealing with stage fright in secret. That’s why I’m hosting an interactive, safe-space live webinar:
